Ziyang locomotive Works, originally known as Ziyang Diesel Locomotive
Works, was established
in 1966 and put into production in 1973. Then the Railway Ministry carried
out large-scale technical reconstruction in the enterprises during the
middle of 1980s, and the" Ninth Five-Year Plan” period successively.
The enterprise lies in Ziyang, More than 80 kilometers away from Chengdu
of Sichuan Province. With advanced machining equipment and strong machining
capability in the domestic railway industry, more than 4000 various kinds
of mechanical and power equipment, fixed assets initial value of RMB800
million and ten thousand employees, among whom there are all kinds of

advantages in manufacturing locomotive, high-power diesel engine and key
spare parts from heat treatment to cold treatment, has whole-set equipment
capability and technical capability in manufacturing heavy forging ,which
not only can meet the demands of railway, but also could offer high-quality
and high-accuracy forging products for domestic and international markets
such as automobile and shipbuilding. After more than 30 years development
and construction, the enterprise has already become the national railway
specialiyed manufacturer of high-power main line diesel locomotive for
passenger and freight transportation, various kinds of shunting locomotive
and electric locomotive. Main products of the works are involved in DF4
series, DF8B, DF8BJ, SS3, SS3B and all kinds of main line diesel locomotive,
electric locom

can be up to over 300 units of locomotive. The enterprise owns the perfect
after-sale service system. In North China, the Northeast, the Northwest,
East China, Central Plains and other places, the works has set up the
after-sale service centers, which could offer in-time and high-quality
service for clients. The enterprise passed through ISO9001-2000 quality system
certification and ISO14000/OHSMS18000 certification successively.
